To follow up on yesterday’s post, a picture from Freshman year that my friend just posted to Facebook. I was very briefly a Pi Phi; this was taken before an emergency room-themed date party. I went as a rock star who just OD’d. My first thought was good grief — but honestly … that’s a good costume. Go on with your bad self.

is this what the old LBC looks like? between this, “briefly pi phi,” and great themed parties… glad to know Tulane has been historically fun.

To Do: Adventures in Disney Parks

Before your trip, rewatch Disney classics you haven’t seen in awhile (101 Dalmations, Bambi, etc.)
Find a comfortable sitting spot in a Disney park. Sit, people watch, and pay close attention to the background music played. Identify classic Disney songs rearranged to fit the style/time period of the attraction/area. Repeat in each land.
Count how many types of plants/vegetables/fruits you can identify in the Disney park horticulture. (If you’re brave: try to sample some of the plants’ fruit)
Take pictures of all the different ride vehicles you sit in throughout your Disney park visit.
Find alternate firework viewing spots around the resort to avoid the crowds around The Hub/Castle. Ask hotel Cast Members for recommendations. (Hint: try hotel pool deck)
Hunt down Disney musical street performers. Don’t forget the Dapper Dans, Disneyland Band, Main Street ragtime pianist, New Orleans Square street performers, and the Trash Can Trio.

If you have an Annual Pass or easy access to Disney Parks,

Collect FastPasses for E-ticket attractions and give them to an obviously-tourist family.
Make it opposite day! Aim to go on every attraction you normally pass up and avoid every attraction you normally experience.
